Refuge Review - April 9, 2007

Hello Friends of Sonrise Jack,
The acoustic show at the Refuge 24MAR was a warm, cozy evening of songs and fellowship with family and friends. With a playlist ranging from Alligator Man to Girl Like You, to A Soldier's Wish, Take A Stand, Don't Turn It Away, to Praise His Name, Mike, Robert and Thomas were honored to play and sing for all present, as we all joined in a celebration of music , as we lifted up the prayer song of Rich Mullins, "Hold Me Jesus", it was and continues to be our prayer for you, that the love and peace of Christ is furiously present in your lives.
Thank you to Paula and the staff at The Refuge for your hospitality, we look forward to joining you again in the months to come.
Pat, thank you for coming to get us balanced musically and sharing your evening with us as always.
Please pray for us as we seek God's will for our future as a ministry of music, as over the coming month's a Sonrise Jack appearance could be a duo or trio, or full band with guests, whenever and wherever we have a chance to praise and honor the Lord with our voices and instruments, you will find that we play for an audience of One, and wish for all present to be drawn close to Him who has given us these years together in song and friendship.
Peace of Christ to you,
Thomas

Bring your friends and family, celebrate the end of Spring Break week in Green Country, and join us in a night of praise and declaration of the joy of the Lord.

Winter Update - December 26, 2006

Hello to all, following the 02DEC2006 Ice show at The Pinkeye, Sonrise Jack is scaling back the band effort, and will likely be playing more acoustic/unplugged style sets for 2007, as we plan for studio work once again with Pat Story at his studio. We are looking foreward to more of an emphasis on the content of the songs as opposed to featuring the musical prowess of the live band efforts of the past few years. Many thanks to Joel Fischer-Columbo for joining the band once again for the Emergenza event, if you happen to find us at a Green Country venue in a foray into the local live music scene, expect to see Joel with the band in 2007, Mike and Thomas were excited for an opportunity to have Joel join us once again for the Emergenza event, and in future gigs locally as well.

Look for more of a charity oriented effort in 2007, if your church or organization would like to have a quality presentation of music and ministry, but cannot afford to bring live music to your scene, please contact us and we will find a way to bring the Sonrise Jack sound to you. Acoustic or electric, we will have a sound to meet your needs and expectations, we play for an audience of One.

Peace and a blessed 2007 to all.
Thomas
